The British Children’s Academy is widely recognised for the thoroughness of its teaching and we pride ourselves on the fact that our children are well prepared for their next school having benefited from a varied and well-directed early education.  We have a strong emphasis on encouraging children’s ability in the core skills of reading, writing and math. We are an inclusive nursery school where each child is given equal opportunity to discover and develop through high quality play based learning.

We recognise the importance of good manners and respect for others and believe this enables our children to be well prepared for life outside the nursery environment. We are dedicated to providing the children in our care with a strong foundation for life, and believe that a quality Early Years education provides children with the best opportunity to achieve their full potential both while at the nursery and in the future.

Children are taught in small classes led by fully qualified teachers and supported by teaching assistants.

Daily Activities

At The British Children’s Academy our focus is on creating a unique learning environment, in which each child can flourish and reach their full potential and aim to ensure each child develops a love of learning during their time with us

You are in good hands with us!

Our lives are very much defined by what we eat and drink. Healthy eating helps children learn, play, grow and develop. The eating habits the children learn will carry over into adulthood.

At the BCA, meals are prepared freshly each day in the nursery kitchen.  Our freshly prepared meals are designed to support the nutritious needs that are vital for the children’s development and growth. We take great care to provide a balanced menu and to accommodate any special requirements, diets and food allergies the children may have. No matter what your child’s dietary requirements are, we can ensure that we will offer a creative delicious alternative.

As well as using the standard food pyramid as a guide, we ensure that none of the food provided contains any added salt or sugar and is MSG free.
